David Seijas, Sommelier at El Bulli (five times World's Best Restaurant) said of Gotim Bru, 'Memorise the name - there are not so many that are so good at this price'.

A very attractive, perfumed nose with cherry, toasted red fruit, some subtle balsamic notes and sweet, spicy oak characters. Ripe fruit on the palate with present yet subtle tannins, all balanced beautifully with a fresh but never invasive acidity.

This is a wine that plays to two camps - those who love modern fruit-forward fresh, juicy styles, and those who appreciate greater complexity with a savoury twist and serious structure.

How do they do this? A clue is in the blend - Tempranillo (55%), Merlot, Garnacha and Cabernet Sauvignon. It is a wine that is fantastic on its own, but will also improve grilled meats, roast lamb and winter stews. It's a real find, and consistently one of our Reds of the Year.

Awards and Press - almost too much to list, going back several vintages - a testament to the consistent quality of the wine. We currently stock the brand-new 2014 vintage - awards are listed below, but here's what the Sommelier judges had to say: 'Fresh and vibrant in style, minerals mix with red fruits on the nose while the palate has jammy, cooked fruit flavours, medium weight and well balanced acidity'.
